Our Ministries

Serving the community through worship, education, and fellowship in Christ's love.

Church

Join us for traditional liturgical services that nurture spiritual growth and community.

Engaging Bible studies and classes for all ages to deepen faith and understanding.

Elementary School

We offer 4 preschool classes from 3 year old through pre-Kindergarten in a variety of schedule options from part time to full week as well as after care programs.

Preschool

We educate students from the community from kindergarten through 8th grade in a fully accredited Lutheran school where we keep Christ in the center of all that we teach. We offer clubs and sports as well. We accept School Choice vouchers.

Family

Children

Most of our activities are in conjunction with the preschool and school. Most of our time and resources at the children's ministry level is funneled through our programs, events and activities that we have throughout the school year and the summer. These have included Trunk or Treat, Animal Shows, and Mexican Fiestas to name a few. See the school website for more details on events.

Youth

Almost all of our youth are blessed with the opportunity to attend Concordia Lutheran High School. We support the high school verbally, financially and prayerfully. We have found it difficult to match the broad range of spiritual, social, and service opportunities that Concordia offers, so we encourage our youth to participate fully. We do have opportunities at the church for service events and youth gatherings when available.

Confirmation

Confirmation is an opportunity for our young adults to stand and confess their faith in word and deed. The Confirmation program at Emmaus consists of two years and has the church, school and home working together in unison to pass on the faith to the next generation. We focus on head, heart and hands; To know the Christian faith, know what you believe, and defend your faith; To have the love of Jesus Christ encompass your entire person; and to serve Him and our neighbor out of love. This culminates in a rite that takes place in May where the young people publicly confess their faith and the church body celebrates this milestone of faith.

Family Vacation Bible School

Each year we gather the family together to experience once again the love of God in Christ Jesus through word, song, food and activities. Families come together as children are led through their adventures, Pastor Olsen works with parents as they explore ways to pass on faith in Jesus Christ to their children through discussion and even activities.

Adult Fellowship

There are many opportunities throughout the different seasons of the year for adults and at times entire families to enjoy fellowship together. Events have included but are not limited to concerts, eating at special restaurants in the area experiencing different flavors or picnics at the park.
